Guinness World Record Attempt – Egan and Piranha Golf
team up for a Guinness World Record attempt to benefit the Folds of
Honor Foundation. Egan Golf and Piranha Golf’s aim is to break the
current world record for the most golf balls hit in a continuous
12-hour period during the Outdoor Demo Day.

AGM Product Preview & Buyers’ Reception |

On the eve of the
Show opening, Jan. 27, the Association of
Golf Merchandisers will host their 3rd Annual Product Preview &
Buyers’ Reception (Room 330 of OCCC) featuring a product preview by
AGM vendor partners and an industry reception. The reception will
begin with the Golf World 100 Best Golf Shops Award Celebration at
5:00
p.m. (Room 340 of OCCC). This event, which honors the best in retail, will be hosted by
Mr. Style himself, Marty Hackel. Immediately following the Golf
World 100 Best Golf Shops Award, an industry reception will feature
AGM vendors and entertainment by the band "One Flew South" until
approximately 7:30 p.m..

year. Every aspect of membership service is available at the PGA
Merchandise Show. Comprehensive PGA Professional services are
available in The PGA Member Business Center (OCCC – 4th floor,
Valencia Room). Free workshops are provided. PGA Mentor lunches for
apprentices and assistants are held daily. PGA Professionals may
participate in the PGA Section Short Game Challenge for daily cash
prizes to their Section at the ETC. A PGA Member Town Hall with
Association leadership is held. In all, more than 20 MSR Credits may
be earned by PGA Professionals for their participation in various
PGA Merchandise Show events and programs.

www.pgashow.com and bring their e-badge directly to the
Media Center (OCCC, Room W311). New media badge applications
will be accepted online through January 22, but will not receive
a barcode ebadge. New media registering January 12-22 will
receive email confirmation and need to pick up their badge on
site. Additionally, media may register on site in the Media
Center with proper media credentials and photo ID. For special

Access at the PGA Show –

Smart City is the exclusive provider of all Internet,
telecommunication and wireless service at the Orange County
Convention Center. Smart City offers 802.11 a/b/g wireless service
with speeds of up to 256K throughout the public areas, meeting rooms
and exhibit space within the center. You now have the opportunity to
get on-line instantly using your laptop or mobile device. This
service works with most internet applications and VPN clients**. To
login, set the network name (SSID) in your wireless configuration to
"Instant Internet". For more information, please

Green" Online Exhibitor
Library of media materials will be located in the Media Center.
Two Internet kiosks will offer online access to hundreds of
exhibitors’ media materials
searchable by name, product category
and date of entry. Printers will be available for any
interview needs on site. There will be a limited number of
traditional cubicles for exhibitor paper press kits.

days that will include that day’s summary, Show announcements, PGA
announcements & links to exhibitor releases, photos, PGA.com web cast

Housing
The Media Room Block at the Quality Inn Plaza will be open through
January 20.The Quality Inn
Plaza (9000 International Drive) is located within 1 mile of the
Orange County Convention Center. The media rate is $92 and
reservations can be made at the
PGA Merchandise Show
TravelDesk, select media category and use "media" as your
password. Media rooms are limited and available first come, first
served. Additional official housing accommodations for PGA Show
attendees are available by calling 1-800-PGA-EXPO (312-527-7371).

Miscellaneous
A concierge
service is available to all attendees in the grand lobby. Airport
shuttle service is available from the OCCC to the MCO Airport on
Saturday (see posted schedule) for $10. Package shipping service also is
available throughout the Show at the business centers located
throughout the convention center.
